In 1985 Mark Meyer had a vision to create a “customer first” company. He set out to provide the highest quality customized apparel at the very best price with the most superior customer service. Voila: The Nelson Hills Company! Today we are proud to have many happy customers and we continue to improve our service based on feedback from you!

The Nelson Hills Company works directly with clothing manufacturers and distributors to ensure the best wholesale prices around. Because of our direct relationships with these companies, we are confident that we can offer just what you need, at the right price.

So where did we get our name? We get asked about the company name all the time.  It doesn’t represent anything in particular but its inspiration comes from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

You’ll find a picture of Emerson hanging around our website. He’s a handsome Bengal cat and our company mascot.  Although he isn’t with us in body any longer, his spirit can be found napping in an office chair or pawing through the closet of sample t-shirts.

We currently work with nearly 200 schools in Virginia and Maryland, as well as Illinois. If you would like to contact any of our clients as a reference, we would be thrilled to provide you with that information.

This is the nitty gritty stuff. Every order is considered unique and custom. For that reason, we do not list generic prices. Please contact us to discuss your product and we will cover every detail to ensure you get the best quality at the best price.

Design Services

We are very proud of the designs we have created for our clients, so we’d love to have you look around our design page. You can personalize any of our designs with your school's name, mascot or logo. Or we can customize any design you like or create a new one for your specific needs.

What? You’re Not a SCHOOL?

That’s fine with us too. We work with businesses and organizations like restaurants (think staff shirts, aprons), community groups (tshirts, hats, etc) and any type of organization. We are super-proud to see one of our clients–Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary–wearing super cool hoodies!
